Sustainability is about more than just surviving; it’s about thriving despite significant changes and challenges. For Head Start programs, sustainability means ensuring the ongoing delivery of vital services to the children and families who depend on them. To achieve sustainability, programs must be prepared to address both anticipated and unexpected opportunities and challenges, such as demographic shifts or natural disasters. 

This course explores planning strategies that can help, including securing new funds, reprioritizing program services, engaging new partners, and exploring innovative solutions. It is now available on the Individualized Professional Development (iPD) Portfolio, where continuing education units (CEUs) are awarded upon course completion.
