Scientific Reasoning
These resources support children in developing knowledge about the natural and physical worlds, scientific skills and methods, and reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Scientific reasoning is a preschooler subdomain of the cognition central domain in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF). Other ELOF domains include approaches to learning; social and emotional development; language and literacy; and perceptual, motor, and physical development.
